Born in Barcelona in 1998, my affinity for the sea guided me to pursue Environmental Biology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Seeking to conclude my studies, I landed in Sao Miguel. In the summer of 2023, I joined Okeanos in Faial, monitoring algae and invertebrates. This opportunity not only aligned with my academic passion but also brought joy and fulfillment. Okeanos has become my professional haven, deterring my initial plan to return to Barcelona. As I continue contributing to marine preservation with Okeanos, I anticipate the challenges and discoveries that await in this unique region.
