About Verónica Neves

Verónica is a seabird ecologist at Okeanos R&D Centre (Azores University). She graduated in Environmental Engineering – Environment branch – from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT), a 5-year pre-Bologna course. In 2006 she completed her PhD On the Conservation of Roseate Terns at the University of Glasgow. She has more than 40 publications in specialized scientific journals, over 30 talks at scientific meetings, over 30 science dissemination articles in national newspapers and magazines and is the author of a book on Darwin´s passage in the Azores and a co-author in three book chapters.
