I am a fisheries engineer with a PhD in Aquatic Ecology and Fisheries from the Federal University of Para, Brazil. I have been a contributing researcher at Okeanos since 2021 where I have been working with small-scale fisheries in the Azores, Portugal. I have experience in fisheries risk analysis, multi-criteria and holistic methodologies for assessing data-poor fisheries and the socio-economics of fishing.
