I am a deep-sea ecologist studying community dynamics and temporal variation in a variety of ecosystems (chemosynthetic and abyssal). In order to achieve this, I work a lot with imagery from different imagery platforms such as ROV's, tow-cams, AUV's, etc. I am also interested in large-scale diversity patterns (beta-diversity), ecological connectivity among deep-sea habitats, interconnectivity and sphere of influence from hydrothermal vents and their surrounding habitats.
