8th International Symposium on Chemosynthesis-Based Ecosystems

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the “8th International Symposium on Chemosynthesis-Based Ecosystems ”, which is organized by the University of the Azores- Institute of Marine Sciences Okeanos. The Symposium will take place from 14 to 18th of June in Horta, Azores, Portugal.  The 8th International Symposium on Chemosynthesis-Based Ecosystems (CBE8) marks the latest chapter in a distinguished series that began in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal in 1997. Since then, the symposium has travelled across the globe — from Brest, France (2001), to San Diego, USA (2005), Okinawa, Japan (2009), Victoria, Canada (2013), Woods Hole, USA (2017), and most recently São Paulo, Brazil (2023) — continually broadening its scientific scope. https://cbe8.org/
